SHIMON OKSHTEYN (1951 - )

Shimon Okshteyn was born in Chernovitz, in the Ukraine, formally USSR. In 1970, attended the prestigious Odessa Art Academy. After a decade of working and exhibiting his works throughout Russia he immigrated to the United States in 1980.

Okshteyn's artworks have a witty, sexually charged dynamic and provocative style, encompassing brilliant colorations handled with precise skill. He works are sought after Internationally.
